Were to accept another coaching job at one of these big time program vacancies and win another natty at a different school. Glad for what he had built at Clemson with 2 natties or disappointed that he didn’t stay and retire a tiger.

I think wanting to win more championships would explain why he would voluntarily leave. I am not convinced we will ever be able to match other schools NIL dollar-for-dollar. THAT makes it hard to recruit from high schools or the Transfer Portal.

Dabo isn't leaving for another school and not leaving anytime soon. He'll always be a Clemson Tiger and one of the greatest if not the greatest.

Sometime everyone needs a change. Not that I want him to go. I am in the camp of maintaining a staff that looks good at the top (on paper at least) and giving them even a couple of years to get their act together below that level. If we switch coaches I don't thik the program bounces back very quickly in that scenario either. So dance with the girl you brought to the dance.
I am very sure Dabo knows that big changes have to happen. We are way beyond tweaking. Heads need to roll, but I am hopefull Swinney can get it done.

LOL! No big time program wants Dabo right now. He failed to embrace NIL and the portal quick enough. Dabo is damaged goods right now in this new era of college football. The only way they would take him if he gave up control to a manager and can you see him doing that.

I seriously question if some of you have ever had a real job in your entire life. Because if you had you'd know one sub-par year in 17 years of unparalleled success isn't cause for all this nonsense.

in my eyes the last five years have been sub par when it comes to beating elite schools and not the cupcakes of the ACC. Lets see Ohio State, Tennessee and Texas whipped Dabo in the postseason and UGA and LSU in the regular season. Who am I missing? Oh yeah that instate SEC scrub even beat the tigers twice in the last three years. It is funny people act like this is ONE off year.

We won the ACC last year and made it to the playoffs. Been going on for 15 years.

When you play in the ACC it requires MORE to justify being Elite. It's what you do vs other P4/5 teams that are OOC that are good/elite..................we've fallen flat on our face here the last 5 years.

Havent beaten a P4 program at home in over a year, but yea, its just this season LOL. Unreal. This program has gotten to the point its making all the wrong kinds of history now. First time losing to Duke at home in 40 years, first time not beating a P4 school since the 50's. It goes on. "one bad year" GTFOOH.

Dabo isn't winning any more National Championships. The game has left him. He could take the LSU job, and they could give him a billion-dollar portal budget, and he wouldn't use it effectively. I'm thankful for what he's done at Clemson, and I think he's a great coach, but unfortunately, he's just not cut out to be a college coach in this era of Football.
