How will the OCs do after DW4 is gone?

Obviously DW4 can make anyone look good but generally speaking are we in good shape with Elliot and Scott as play callers?

Exactly what I was thinking when I read this post. If they made Stoudt look good, I have no worries.

Yes I think both are really intelligent guys. Hope to see a little more Baylor in our offense. But the truth of the matter is they won 14 games.

I would honestly like to know your answer to this question.

What do YOU think our OC's will do after DW4 leaves? It seems you have some doubts on their legitimacy.

Kelly Bryant will have been here 2 years when he leaves. Should be a smooth transition

true but Bryant is no Watson. He will be very good but there was ONE Watson like there was one Spiller. So this fan base will have to get a grip on that

Production will drop off , but they are smooth in their play calling. As long as the next man up is mobile and can manage the game , we'll be fine. DW4 is special. GO TIGERS !!!

Hunter Johnson should help

With the amount of weapons on campus and arriving in the near future, it will be impossible to replace DeShaun, but help is on the way.

They've proven they can tailor their gameplans to the strengths of their QB's. See Stoudt, Watson.
If Bryant is QB in 2017, expect a run-heavy offense similar to what Malzahn had at Auburn with Nick Marshall and Tre Mason.

We are too deep, our talent can make even the most inept coordinators look amazing. However, our coordinators are anything but inept, they are very smart and tailor the offense to the talent on the team.
I was watching the championship game with some buddies that are LSU grads and huge fans, they were amazed at the play calling. The fluidity and unpredictability of offense and not to mention how freaking balance we were.
They were ready to hire them on the spot to LSU, saying how they wish just once they could have the creative playcalling we demonstrated in the game with their talent.

We all should look to our OL that gets
Feb 4, 2016, 10:06 AM
|
|
Better every year and the year after DeShaun leaves our OL will be better than it has ever been.
If DeShaun had our OL 2-3 years from now he would be even better.
We will not have a DeShaun but an OL that can run very balanced can give an extra 2 seconds with a successful run game will not be stopped. Of course we are loaded better than ever at the QB position.
Next man up will be the truth.
Go Tigers!
