Also will UGA win any Natty's with him at the helm. He kind of looks Will Muskrat's less crazy younger brother.
I would say he will last 5 or 6 more years, he'll win just enough to keep his job, but not good enough to win any Natty's & eventually they will go down to like 8 wins a season & he's gone

If you think he'll be there another 5 or 6 years in addition to the 4 he's been there, that's about 10 years and hardly seems like a coaching career that destined to "implode." Underachieve, maybe. Implode, no.

I think its some old inside Tigernet joke. Moron is always spelled "moran" and "deer" is always used where "dear" should be used. Its been that way forever.

Here is the interesting thing...
Mark Richt was slightly better than Kirby through 4 seasons. BUT he won the SEC in his 5th season.
I don't see any way for Kirby to win the East, let alone the SEC next year.

Smart has already won the SEC. they beat Auburn the year they got beat by Bama in the CFP champ game.

Yes, but Richt won the SEC in his second year as well.
Both Kirby and Richt finished the regular season/conference bowl season ranked #3 nationally with only one loss. Both were ranked 3rd behind two undefeated teams. The only difference is the CFP format allowning the #3 a chance vs the BCS only being 1v2.
Richt was above .800 at this time, Kirby is slightly below .800 now.

yes just good enough to not embarrass the program, and maybe sniff a championship, but always coming up 1 or 2 games short every year, is Kirby Smart a coach that can lead Georgia to the promised land?
