Is asked about the Charlie Kirk situation and Clemson Employees? Does he use this as a reason to look to leave Clemson? Guarantee you other schools are already using the university's inaction on this topic with recruiting. With his faith, can't see how this is not creating a conundrum for him - and for all those that he recruits who share that faith.
As an alum, a long time IPTAY donor and a donor to Clemson, this is a turning point for Clemson. It is time for change at Clemson. Free speech is one thing, celebrating an assassination on any level is not and crosses a line. I, and many of my CU friends, face a dilemma: How do you donate your time and your money to an organization that will not take a stand on this topic. And now even if they were to switch boats, the decision is all because donor money forced it.
In one week Clemson was celebrated nationally for its Clemson Life program and how those students are incorporated into the Greek System only to be overshadowed by the thoughtless actions of 3 (or more) individuals.
Until this week, I have been a proud Clemson alum who shares that experience with all. Today I am embarrassed by my Clemson Family and the stance they have taken. It is time for change --- BOT members are supposedly split on the firing of these individuals --- we need to know who and they need to be ousted. The whole tenor of our university needs to change. The poisoning of our students needs to stop.
I encourage you all who share any part of this opinion to take action --- send an email to IPTAY, to President Clements and to the Board. Ultimately, they could cripple this university, athletically and otherwise for a long time to come.

He ain’t going nowhere. If we didn’t have a tough game today I’m sure he would have been on the phone making some noise about how this has been handled.
He has pull in Clemson. More than a lot of head coaches do.

its a university first not a football team. the value of the education is bigger than the game, #### Dabo says something similar regularly. or at least that was his recruiting schtick for years.
what happened to Charlie is terrible, but he was a polarizing figure. He used hot takes and flash points to gain fame over the years, and becoming a big personality has consequences where literally anyone can buy a gun. certainly not deserving of death, but its your first ammendment right to free speech. quit being a snowflake and embrace it. i swear hyper-conservatives and liberals are both the biggest snowflakes out there. cant say anything without somebody calling for somebody elses job.

Dabo has nothing to do with the faculty of Clemson. If he wants to use this as an excuse to leave, he’d be giving up his massive buyout.

I have had a suspicion decisions in recent years is about the desire for a Big10 invite. The Elevate plan as a start. The emphasis on generating more research grants. Think about the ideology emphasized at the majority of Big10 institutions and the the AAU fraternity of institutions. I don’t think the schools in the SEC are quite that far left leaning yet. The BOT and Clements are attempting to thread a needle here and the alumni don’t necessarily see what they see. This may be the fracture that sends Clements out the door and whatever repercussions it would have on the membership of the BOT.

If he is against the comments of fellow university employees then money surely won’t keep him around. He came from nothing and has way more than he or his children will ever need. Another year or two of $11M won’t determine if he stays.
