How is your day going

I am on the porch in the shade. I am under a fan with ice cold Guinness.It is to hot to work.
I have Chet Baker playing too loud. I like most music, including JAZZ. It (music and beer) got me thinking.

My first taste of JAZZ was at the old Fike Field House where music groups would show.
The 'Dave Brubeck Quartet' arrived. I was mesmerised. I had never seen anything like them, maybe I still have not.

I am at work, pretending to look busy but mostly posting in here. I worked last week, so I am going to take it easy for a few days this week. I'll am listening to various reggae on my mid-fi headphones. I'll probably listen to my nice ones tonight. They are like fleshlights for your ears.

My porch system is:
-- Small computer set up fanless for tune playback at the highest level
-- 70,000 tunes in lossless flac
-- Benchmark DAC that retailed at $1800
-- Sunfire Amp that retailed at $3600
-- Gallo speakers that retailed at $2000
-- Polk subwoffer that retailed at $1500
(I buy second hand gear, so much less $$ than retail)

I zeroed the sound to my chair using a microphone and software.
One can have great sound outdoors, in fact in many ways it is easier.

It is 90°+ here in the GSP area. I have a push mower.

I will be enjoying the sounds of the 70s, 80s, early 90s, and the 2010s
