How I’m feeling about next season

This should be on all the players’ phone wallpapers.
Regardless of how great Clemson is next year, I won’t be happy unless we beat the snot out of them.
Carolina is THE reason we weren’t in the playoffs. Everybody may have thought differently after the Tennessee game, but I bet my last dime that if we had been in the playoffs, Dabo would’ve had that team and Cade ready and they would have won a championship I know it.
The disrespect that Rattler showed by all the flexing is understandably not taken very seriously by most (because we lost on a special teams play), but it still also pisses me off a bit.
Screw the coots.

We would not have gone to the 4-team dance since we'd have finished 5th at best and probably sixth.
They won square & fair but we sure helped them!!

That committee was never going to vote us ahead of Ohio State because they simply did not believe we were better. Their edict is to get the 4 best teams in the playoff and that is what they did. We each would have had one loss and our loss would have been to a team they beat and theirs would have been to another playoff team that was ranked #2 in the country. I know people think our winning the ACC would have made a difference but the committee did not place a lot of value on that given the conference's low standing.
It doesn't matter anyway as it's water under the bridge but we certainly were not a slam dunk even if we beat SC. Not to say it couldn't have happened but the way the committee was ranking us behind 2-loss teams all along tells me they did not take us seriously after the ND game.

No UofSC loss and we are in...Weare the conf Champs of a power five...bucknuts didn't even get to play for one and were curbstomped by Wishigan...we`ll never know!

That was was pretty much certain by virtue of us being conference champa.
Don't know what would have happened versus UGa, but we were still that close to ending up ranked in the top 4. Crazy.

There's no doubt about it. Just look at the CFP rankings. I haven't looked it up again, but I'm positive we were in if we beat uSC and the Tarholes.

If we had snuck into the playoffs then it would have been harder to justify letting Streeter go and we would not have acquired Riley.
