How does two teams that haven’t sniffed success in

Decades jump us?

This is good though, it’s the disrespect that keeps Dabo’s teams going.

I just don’t get it though. ALABAMA could lose every game year in and year out and still be ranked in the top two just based off their history. When does Clemson get that respect?

Your team is at about 64

These polls, while starting with pre season , they are now a reflection of the games being played.Previous success only helps with pre season poll

It’s all about equity…

We’ve done enough to deserve that respect. When does it stop? Once Oregon loses, and they will, who will jump us next?

and respect credits we had amassed.

Getting blown out in the playoffs last year, scoring just 3 points against Georgia last week, and not looking great again yesterday on offense isn’t helping our cause right now.

I don’t disagree that an SEC team in our position would probably be getting credit for prior success, but I don’t think it’s right either.

Just the “eye test”. Lots of games left. Any of those teams drop a game and we leap them. At this point I kind of like the ranking to keep the team hungry.
