How do Regionals tickets work?

Last year I bought single game tickets via Ticketmaster resale site and paid $100+ per ticket for my incoming freshman student. This resale market is ruining college sports for the regular fans more so than NIL if you ask me. Will he, as a student, have ability to buy tickets? I’m an IPTAY member now. Will I have access to tickets? Of course I don’t have many points so I’m assuming I won’t make the cut ha!

I believe that season ticket holders get to order first. I am not a season ticket holder, but last year I was able to select my seats when I ordered. They sold out very quickly.

Speaking from my experience as a student last year during regionals, we got in for free, but it was standing room only because they took the student section in the outfield and made it additional general admission seating. Unfortunately, the people in the IPTAY/ticket office failed to communicate that to the people at the student entrance, so when they scanned us in, they directed us to the normal student section. Next thing we know, people start showing up with tickets for the section. It was a mess.
