Been waiting for him to find his shot. A little more arc might help him, his shot is somewhat flat.

Our high school plays Shelby each year and I work with our coach. He said back then that Davoe was not an acc type player, he thought maybe a Coastal carolina type of player. He also said that he would struggle to get his shot off in the acc. The one time I saw him play he must have shot 25 times and over half of those were 3's so he was going to score his points.

He's played well. When the ###### above commented on how he was fundamentally terrible with no rotation on his shot, I wasn't sure what to think. I certainly hadn't noticed anything "fundamentally terrible" with his game.
So I paid more attention tonight, and not only is he fundamentally sound he also has good rotation on his 3. Do haters even pay attention to games, or do they just make #### up just to talk crap?

He has the best rotation on the team. Slightly inconsistent, but "rotation" is a bad gripe.

and fans are starting to scrutinizing Donte Grantham in the same way.
Honestly, these are typical of the recruits that come to Clemson to play basketball. If they were good enough out of high school to be stars as freshman or even sophmores, they would have gone to a more established program. We got them because the Dukes and the UNCs and even the NC States and the Wakes didn't offer.
And as with almost every kid we've ever seen turn into a star eventually at Clemson, we have to have the patience to let a guy like Gabe DeVoe develop and come into his own.
He may never be a high octane scorer in college, but because of his size, he's becoming a very scrappy defender and a strong rebounder.
If and when his shot comes around (like Blossomgame's has) Gabe DeVoe will be a solid player for the Tigers.
