Some guys are afraid to compete for a job & take the road less traveled...Fleming just wants PT early.

We miss on a recruit or any other percieved slight against Clemson, for that matter, is always (Rule#2) answered w/ hostile, sour grapes &/or slanderous name calling, (Rule#1a) always be paranoid, (#1b)-clutter the FB Board w/ baseball & basketball posts hourly(flood & bombard w/ extreme prejudice-?^this is SOP

than the average player on a championship team.
And many of the former type eventually wish they were the latter.

Ok I def wouldn’t call ohio st a “losing team” makes you sound a little salty. We can’t land all the top guys and we will land another great WR instead. Go Tigers!!

Very much agree. sometimes too much talent can also be destructive to a team fabric. I am happy Fleming picked something that rocks his boat. Let everyone get their share. We need competition too

Bold statement cotton. I'll take Ross, Ngata and Ladson

It's hard to scout a guys work ethic. They knew they would have to come here and work their butts off to be successful. Cultural fit is key imo
were you aware that Ross outperformed Julio Jones his freshman year? he left no doubt in the national championship game, where he crushed his stats.

Oh, the staff wanted him. They weren't going to beg like OSU and PSU did and sunshine pump him. Clemson is not for everyone and Fleming is obviously not a Clemson man. If the reality of having DJ throwing his way and being a college playoff contender isn't enough, then so be it. Enjoy OSU.

OSU has a good chance of being a playoff contender too over his 3 years there.

Until I see something positive from their QB Fields, I will have to disagree on them being a contender for the CFP. I do not see that happening. Fields is just not consistent enough on the deep routes. We had a similar situation, and KB2 lost his starting job to a freshman. Fields and OSU will have to go thru the same process to be a CFP contender IMO.
And having great receivers won't help Fields all that much either. The verdict will remain out until he does something to prove otherwise.

Kelly Bryant took us to the CFB and only had 2 losses as a starter in his entire career. What are you talking about? Its okay that some players enjoy other schools. Clemson isn't the only school good at college football.

Yeah, minutes before he committed, he was calling us, begging for walk-on status, DENIED & his ph# placed on call rejection list-

Imagine the egregious error CJ Spiller made to commit to Clemson back when we were struggling to win 8 games a year.
Some of these posts are embarrassingly childish.

I know, it's not like Ohio State is some bottom-feeder.
Clemson is a GREAT place, and in my opinion, the best place in the world. But jeez...get a grip.

And I guess Watson was afraid of competition too since we weren’t a championship team before he came here. Our fan base is starting to prove that winning can bring out the worst in people.

Look at our depth chart. He was like the 5th or 6th best guy on our roster. OSU he would be top 2.

He would have been our best probably, but in a couple of years, maybe even year 3. I guess he just wanted to go start immediately.

Seemed he was a 0-31SU lean throughout to me. Also, I’m withholding judgement on Fields we didn’t see enough at Jawga to know how the kid will do if he has the reigns for a full year
