The ACC has been beyond bad for several years, but might just be getting better. Wake did lose last night - but in OT to ranked Michigan. UNC spanked Kansas. (Although losing their point guard for several weeks will hurt them). Duke is - Duke. FSU - like Wake - lost, but tight game with a highly ranked Florida. Louisville beat Kentucky.
Yeah you're right. Cuse looks better as does Miami. Looking forward to the sec challenge. We got some games coming up that will stress us.
I do wish Brad would schedule us some early season games like unc, Kansas, zona, and duke have done for years. It's tough because you have to schedule so far out... a good team today may be crap in 5 years.
Similar to football, while the early season big game is intriguing, it sure is nice to get a few warm up games in under our belts. I certainly feel better having the three cupcake games to figure our lineups, get new guys worked in, etc., and I'm sure the team does too.
The rest of our schedule before the ACC is tough, I think we did a great job this year with OOC scheduluing.
Georgetown, WVU, Alabama, BYU, Cincinatti, South Carolina, and either Georgia / Xavier.
Two top 10 teams, and 5 other generally solid programs. We will know a LOT about this team come ACC play, that is for sure.
