Think this guy as the most upside of any recruit we have. Think he was way undervalued because of
1. Small school
2. Skinny
3. Didn't do any of these camps for ratings.
The room I look at him, I see a lot more room for growth than what others seem to think. I really see him being 260 plus after just a redshirt year.

I agree with you and think he is a steal and is going to be a baller... However, 260 after 1 RS year is doubtful. He has a long, athletic frame and can definitely suppurt more weight, but not 40ish pounds more weight after 1 year. I think he will be lucky to see 260 in his entire time at CU. With the addition of 25-30 pounds playing around 240-245 he will be a good speed rusher off the edge. WDE aren't necessarily designed to be hulking guys, they are to use their speed, agility and quickness to disrupt things. Case and point, Vic Beasley. If Davis can put on 25-30 pounds and maintain his motor and speed he will be good.

Agree. I think Yeargin and Davis will battle for "The Beasley Role". If either are half the player Beasley was, I'll be happy.

I bet he comes in around 235. 25 pounds is not a stretch for a kid that tall on the training table. Corey Crawford was 280 about the same height.

Corey Crawford also weighed 250 as a SR in HS, Davis doesn't. He weighs around 215 right now. Big difference. Crawford put on 25-30 lbs in a college strength and nutrition program. IF Davis does the same, he will be about 240ish which would be a good weight to be a WDE.

Could very well be. If I had to pick a lower radar/lower ranked guy from this class I'm most excited about, it would be Sterling Johnson. His film is film is fun to watch. Big, quick, strong, and shoots out of his stance like a rocket. Really like both though.
