Tadpole Stew
I raise Bull Frogs, some of mine get big enough to grab a squirrel.
As my garden pond is in sight of the Tugaloo River, sooner or later they leave me for that.
I restock every few years.
Yesterday got in 50 tadpoles from Florida.
I put half in the pond, the other half in a pot with garlic, onions, Texas Pete, and chopped tators.
This is some good eating!

Served up some venison tenderloin medallions that had been marinating all day from a harvest that I was blessed to receive from a buck who slipped up this past season. Sides included risotto along with a vegetable medley of onions, zucchini, sweet peppers, baby portobello mushrooms, and broccoli. The Mrs. was very pleased. 😀
