He’d have been a fool not to take it, if indeed the rumored ‘it’ was ~$5,000,000. So much depends on the ‘guaranteed’ aspect T of the $5M and the length of time that he must remain an Aggie for that money to be all his.
Hate it has to be this way, at least as far as a Clemson fanatic like me is concerned. For the player, I will admit that I’m happy for his family and him to get such a tremendous next egg.
