Director of player personnel and director player development

Alabama just hired for these two positions. Kevin Steele is one of them. So do we have these positions? Are they the ones that will be tweeting the high school kids constantly? Is college football becoming the new NFL? Strange happenings...or is this expected and the new normal?

Sounds more like a freshman/soph. athletic mentor, sort of.

Kevin Steele returning to Tide as part of support staff

Alabama announced Thursday that Kevin Steele has been hired as UA’s Director of Player Personnel
“We are excited to have Kevin back on our staff,” said Saban. “He did an excellent job here previously, and he knows our program from a recruiting standpoint as well as anyone. His organizational skills and people skills make him a perfect fit for this role. As recruiting in college football has evolved through the years, this position is one of the most important on our staff.”
