Joe Manchin today said he's a firm no on Build Back Better.

Bernie wants a vote still on the bill so Joe will have to officially record the No. Joe said ok.

Good for him and yes he does. I saw a clip of “Charlemagne tha god” ask VP Harris which Joe was actually President. It was contentious, awkward and clearly struck a nerve. I of course welcome the fratricide you mention.

Rampant inflation? Rapidly increasing national debt? Record cash in personal accounts?

Sounds like we need to spend $2T we don’t have on a massive handout. Dems don’t have a clue. They’ll get killed in the midterms.

Yes. That is such a joke. If a federal program supposedly is to disappear in 2-3 years, is that program needed to begin with?

Very, very few federal programs go away once in place.

This is an effort to embrace sham accounting to support the bill. It’s totally BS. It’s even more preposterous to state the bill costs zero.

Good for him. Also, the D leadership for once can't do anything to hurt him. If they primary him in the next election with anyone, Manchin would win anyway. He's the only D that could win in WV.
