He was actually doing a whole segment trying to defend her and give her credit for bringing so much popularity to the WNBA. Numerous people have been pushing back against the Clark hype and arguing that the reason for the surge in WNBA attention is due to the entire rookie class. Pat was going over game ratings and jersey sales to show how drastic the disparity was between Caitlin and the rest of the league when it came to viewership and sales. He actually made a really good argument. But unfortunately, he concluded it by saying "I would like the media people that continue to say, 'This rookie class, this rookie class, this rookie class.' Nah, just call it for what it is: There's one white b###h for the Indiana team who is a superstar." He wasn't trying to criticize her, but he made a very stupid and disrespectful choice of words calling her a beach for no reason, and that understandably drew criticism.

Mcafee is annoying. I don’t care what he says about Clark, the dude is annoying. I’ve never watched more than two or three seconds of his show. Only when changing channels. I saw enough of him on college game day. I hope he’s gone. I think he’s a punk.
