How do you gather he'll be getting a big check? He will have to negotiate a salary with his new team. Being owed $13M by the Raiders if he was re-signed means nothing to the new team. He could sign for the veteran minimum.
I don't think teams value this kind of possession receiver enough.

When you hire an unproven coach you make a gamble. Dabo chooses to gamble too much. You don't go all in every hand. My gut tells me Renfrow is worth gambling on.

He has zero experience and was just fired from his NFL job.
We hired tons of unproven and see where it has gotten us. We need experience.

First off he ain't done playing someone will pick him. 2nd it won't be about money when he decides on his next career. I don't know why anyone who loves ball and has his own money would even think about college coaching in the current model.

latches onto a good situation somewhere. I know at least two NFL QBs that would love to have him, but neither of those franchises is likely to make a move in that direction. If Belichick was still in New England, I bet he would jump on this opportunity with both feet.
