Wake was picked to finish 2nd in the Atlantic Division behind Louisville, while Clemson...well...wasn't.
However, if I were a batting man, I'd wager they give it to a coach from a tobacco road school.

I really didn't have high expectations for this season. I kinda figured this would be a rebuilding/tuning up year. Every win is a bonus for me!
The guys clearly have bought into his philosophy at the plate. The pitching is still a little suspect here and there, but they've figured out a pretty decent rotation and aren't afraid to use a committee to get a win.

No questions asked. Wake has done great but a first year coach doing what hasn’t been done in years and is going to most likely finish 2nd…… tbh he’s a candidate for national coach of the year if we win a regional

WF was preseason #6. It’s not even a race IMO bakich is unanimous ACC coach of the year

Wake was picked to finish at the top like last year so they didn't really do better then what was expected. I think its between...
Clemson ( picked to finish second to last in division)
BC ( picked to finish last in division)
Duke ( picked to finish last in division)
I think its down to these 3 coaches if I had to guess.

I don’t even think that’s a discussion… there should be no argument at all for anyone else over him and to be honest he’s in the convo for National COY imo depending on when the voting takes place
