I was checking the scores at the end of the night last night and came across ESPN's headline for the Stanford v Hawaii game. "Hawaii dominates Stanford..."

The scoreboard was 23-20 with Hawaii winning by a last second field goal. The ESPN computer analytics favored Stanford for most of the game as the likely winner. Did any of you watch this and believe that Hawaii dominated Stanford in the game? If so, then I'll get off my high-horse on this one. I didn't watch it, but at face value it feels like disingenuous reporting of a story.

Hard to understand since Hawaii is not SEC.

I didn't see any domination. I saw two crappy teams playing. Unfortunately, one of them had to win.

All I know is, it's practically free money if you took Stanford on the under for their win total this year.

Stanford QB threw an INT with Cardinal leading with less than 5 minutes remaining in the game. I hate the ACC!

it not your imagination and it is not accidental, espn did it for a Florida Clemon playoff baseball game one in which clemson led 7-4 but florida won 9-7 on some very questionable umpiring aka cheating.

espn chose to go with the healine "florida stomps clemson" despite them winning by 2 runs and trailing the whole game until the end.

your post is interesting because last night i was on the espn website the unlv game had ended and i checked the stanford score both at the top of the page, even clicking on "show all games" simply wasnt listed, i even scrolled own the main page to the active current college scores and games completed section again selecting all scores........again simply no where to be found......

then i wake up to your post on the odd headline...no i dont think its accidental....so what do i think it is? i can't really say other than whoever is tasked at espn with doing in game updates and writing headlines aka narratives is a very very angry person with a clear acc axe to grind while minimizing any truth that may hurt the feelings of sec teams.

If clemson beats LSU by 3 touchdowns expect "Clemson slips by LSU" or some kind of distraction article focusing on kelly.....they just cant accept the fact that sec teams are sometimes just not good enough to win. However if LSU wins by 1 point with a 55 yard fiel goal at the horn, expect a bold print headline of Sec dominance and an article explaining why they deserve 8 teams in the playoff.....without even letting the season play out.

It should have read: "Stanford humiliated by a crap Group of Five Hawaii, as hobbled Rainbow Warrior QB limps his team to victory."

“If you tell a lie frequently enough, people will start to believe it”. All about propaganda, and dismantling the ACC and every team in it. Got to push their favorite conference. It’s just business to them but personal for us.

I watched most of the game, there was no domination. Stanford just has a terrible QB.

True. They wasted an excellent effort by Micah Ford.

Why not have them in the ACC? Jimmmy Phoul-ups said that, although Hawaii is in the Pacific, part of it faces East toward the Atlantic Ocean and that's good enough for him to join the ACC!

Stanford was seriously considering dropping football before Harbaugh became the coach. He saved them, then, but they seriously suck again. Even after Harbaugh went to the 49ers, there was mostly nobody at the games. The west coast is a strange place and apparently they care nothing about football

Stanford gave that game away with the picked off screen pass underneath

Stanford was driving and were probably going to get tack on points with 4 minutes left but that one mistake changed the outcome. I would say Stanford had control of that game but didn't slam the door.
