Dabo is past his prime. The once Young, charismatic, energetic guy who kids related to so well, has become the older, nice guy, who talks rhetoric today's kids don't identify with, and who's loyalty to friends and those he loves interferes with business decisions on who to keep who to fire. Our recruiting evaluation is flawed. we recruit great kids who are slightly above average football players rather than just talent based. We (we being Swinney), refuses to go get the best player, due to either faulty loyalty, delusions of the ability level of certain guys he likes, or lack of funding. Our players have it too cushy, and are soft! Defensive players are average in some positions and lazy in others. Protecting their health for draft status has surpassed Winning for some key guys. And most of all, they don't play hard for Swinney or for the University.
This is not USuC! We expect, and deserve better than this! If this staff and these players can't, or in some cases, WON'T play hard, do their job, stop playing safe or selfishly, and can't get the job done, GO FIND SOME WHO WILL!!! This is CLEMSON, we want, deserve, and demand the BEST! And if you think I'm wrong or just a basher, YOU'RE PART OF THE PROBLEM TOO! Said what I said! Go TIGERS!!!

I am a Clemson alum, have loved CU for 50+ years, am of good character, know nothing about coaching football, and could use +/-$500k/year for a few years leading into retirement.

Seems to pay pretty well. His sons on staff are making $250k. I wonder what his son the ball holder makes for NIL.

I have said it before, and I will say it again. I thought I would die, having never seen a Clemson national title in football. He showed me 2. He gets to stay, as long as he wants.

Dabo has taken us to the mountaintop 2 times and almost had a third. He runs a classy program.
He has won the ACC for 8 out of the last 10 years. Sports are usually cyclical and we’re experiencing a 4 game down period. We’ll start winning some games… RELAX!!
Aside from that, the crowd reacts to the players’ intensity. The players used to come down the hill and run over to the fans by the hill and wave and pump them up, but this team is not doing that.
If the players show some heart and fire, the fans will react and I think the quality of play will improve.
Aside from that… Dabo is still the same great coach he was when we won 2 Nattys … albeit in a completely different landscape from the current NIL and paid players college football.
As far as I’m concerned, Dabo can stay as long as he wants to. I’m ALL IN!!

winning two titles in the past doesn't give him a free pass to suck in the present! It was a different landscape then, and while I do credit him for those titles 100% he's now lost command of this team. The players don't respond to him like they used to, and when that happens it's near impossible to get it back. Go find a young coach that can both recruit and use the portal.
