Rapping is absolutely a talent. It's literally just poetry to a beat. I don't particularly enjoy reading Robert Frost but I can recognize he was an exceptionally talented poet.

90% of fans are semi wealthy white people (unless you bought the $6k tickets on credit card) that have absolutely no rap in their playlists. The players were in locker room and couldn't hear it. Kinda throws know your audience out the window. Probably sound like my parents 50 yrs ago saying turn it down listening to Zeppelin or Floyd.

I think it's the opposite.
They used to trot out fossilized rock bands like The Rolling Stones or the Who that no one this century gives a sh*t about...and the elders that do like them are in bed....It's a great strategy by the NFL to use younger entertainers...
