He was safe by a mile…these big 10 umpires are awful. That fat slob behind the plate has an awful strike zone

Bad camera angle so couldn’t see the tag

Missed the play in the field, missed the throw to the plate, saw just the bad backside angle of the slide.

Looked like he should've been out, but he did protest pretty vehemently that he "swam" around the tag.

But we got a break on the hit batter as that almost 100% hit the end of the bat and should've been strike 3.
