What pipeline of money are they tapping into in ATL?
I swear, I thought that program for left for dead coming out of the Geoff Collins debacle but dang if Brent Key doesn't have some thing cooking down there.

And we play at GT next season . While we were busy basking in our accomplishments from 6 or 7 years ago, other teams were working to close the gap. As they say you can put the toothpaste back in tbe tube. It's gonna be a fight to get back now. Looking at UGA, tbey kept their foot on tbe pedal and hae remained a top 5 program. I guess it's all about what you expect for 11 million plus for a headcoach. But hey at least our players will be good guys at age 30??????

It's never been about the money. Walk around and look at all of our facilities and you know that. That was a convenient excuse to support why we weren't playing.
It's time to get serious before we lose all of our recruits.

GT executes over $1B in research awards annually. The most for any school without a med school. Not that they’re tapping into that for the AA. But graduate a ton of engineers, most of the AI researchers are from GT, etc. Money isnt a problem.

I have said it on here before and will say it again. Brent Key is a horrible program leader. No accountability, staff lacks attention to detail and work ethic. He won’t hold onto high caliber coaches. Buster Faulkner, his OC, interviewed two Fridays ago with Southern Miss for the head coach job, after only a year with Ga Tech. He didn’t get the job but he’s looking. He’ll take staff with him.
Key did a good job this year, but my personal opinion is that it’s not sustainable when recruits figure it out.

GT must have some high traffic and highly visible lots around Atlanta they are selling to Chick-fil-a and Waffle House.

Atlanta has more folks than the entire state of SC. The high volume traffic is there.
