In the case of FSU this is simply false. Golson was benched in favor of Maguire, making Maguire the starter.

In the case of ND, that "backup" QB has led the team to a one-loss record and a #5 ranking in the initial CFP poll.

Gottlieb must be relying on a backup fact-checker.

As for ND, the kid they had played one decent game, in their bowl against LSU. Moon boy couldnt beat out Golston when he was a turnover machine. Kizer is the QB of that team, Zaire won't get his job back, even if they are playing on the moon and it's NOT raining.
