Gotta give ol' Slurrier credit...

He out-coached Richt...plain & simple! We can talk about the 2 missed 3', or the penalties calling back game changers...but it came down to clock mgt in the end. AND not playing Gurley when he wanted it (even though tired). Many missed opps, but now USuCK can look good til we play them if they can continue winning. Did I mention I freaking HATE them & that burns me like crapping acidic bile from my coot-hole. thUGA had it & blew it...

700? No. I'm not convinced Auburn is that great, they have only played one SEC team and that was Arkansas, who has one of the worst pass offenses in the FBS.

Hard to feel bad about either team losing...

I was in Buffalo WW and couldn't hear the commentary, but the placement of the ball on the 4th down play late in the game couldn't be questioned...However, I did think that the first down chain showed that the C*cks were short by the slimmest of margins...1st down UGA.

You do know that the ball just has to get past the last chain, not past the post, right? In that case, it was a first down, by the nose of the football.

No, I didn't know that. I've always been under the impression that it was the point of the ball and the post. In fact I remember once seeing an official take a card out of his pocket and place it vertically between the nose of the ball and the post.

As do I! At Clemson!!! Argued this with my roomie a bit, but he knows football a little better than me. It was all questionable to me. I guess rules change or whatever...
I actually wanted the spot on the previous play checked, personally thought they'd given them a huge bonus spot. Those inches proved to be the difference...if we're talking about the last possessions being the absolute difference.
Go Tigers! Slam the Criminoles!

They couldn't have been handed more chances & questionable calls.
That 4th down chain call at the end was a teller & indicator. There were many more plays that could've easily changed that game! But the delays & everything affected the mojo in this one... Hopefully Slurturds mojo-tank is running low after all that mess! It makes our game even more important. ..
