I know he reads Tigernet, so he may see this. But great show today, he was very open with his opinion on the state of the program, and what needs to be done. They took calls with fellow Tiger fans that were good calls, and he answered accordingly. No BS sugar coating or sunshine pumping.
Said he received a text from a trusted source that said there were arguments in the locker room after the game Saturday. No names, but Mickey’s tone changed to pretty agitated after seeing the text. Again, no names given, but it seemed like maybe a big NIL player possibly?
Anyway, great show, and would recommend listening to the podcast if you missed it or are curious.

Would pick Ship before Cade he doesn’t come off that way at all. When he brought up the “idc I’m going to be a first round draft pick regardless” there’s only one person who has a shot at being a first round pick.

That player is the only guy that plays with an edge this year but he's always been a tad immature if it's who you are thinking it is. He will be an early draft pick too and I don't think him blasting the team like that is necessarily a bad thing. He still plays hard and his immaturity is showing bc he's mad at the effort but does not know how to channel that into leadership yet.

I think we all know who it is. And he just messed up and made a critically bad play. Could he make up for it?
Yes, but I truly think getting another guy like Wiggins is what we’re desperate for. And Good Lord, Wiggins is gone after this year. No way he comes back.
The portal can be used for that.

The only position I do not worry about development at is CB. Mike Reed is one of the best in the business. I have 0 doubt that corner play will be solid every year, there are growing years when he loses 2 to the NFL though.

Buddy..We are 4-4. The one corner I’m speaking of costed us. 7 points. It was a horrific play.
It’s not about development here. We’re 4-4. We need players that can come in and be ready to not mess up like Wiggins. Wiggins allowed ZERO receptions against Keon Coleman. That’s what we need out of all of them.
Of course! The DBs are not the problem mostly. They’ve actually been shut down. Except for in the most critical situations, FSU OT, Miami fade TD at end, NC St missed tackle after catch, and so on.
The guy I’m talking of can be replaced with a proven player from another school. And it could be done ethically, because apparently Dabo doesn’t think it’s morally right to take transfers.

Also, I congratulated Mickey yesterday. For those that don't know, his niece Isabella Rawl helped our Tiger lady golfers bring home the trophy. I'm sure he was beaming over it.

Do we have any big NIL players? After that hit Saturday, I doubt Shipley even knew he was in Raleigh, much less arguing about the game. Everybody is frustrated though so arguments in the locker room don't surprise me.

Yeah, I've noticed that with a lot of our athletes other than football too. I try to give them all a TU or whatever you call it on Instagram. I guess that helps them. Hope so.

I think I’d be mad if somebody wasn’t arguing in the locker room. If somebody was getting yelled at, I hope it was an offensive line coach, a wide receiver coach, and the entire starting offensive line.
