Good break down of the game.

This guy is a Texas homer, but he breaks down the statistics, too. He has been echoing what we have said here.
Texas and Clemson have almost identical stats on the offensive side of the ball, so the offenses are about the same, but with Klub being mobile, giving us a slight edge. However, Texas put up those numbers with a slightly more difficult schedule.
The talent indexes are the same: Texas #4, Clemson #5.
The big difference is the defenses; Clemson has an average defense statistically, whereas Texas is ranked much higher, including the number one pass defense and allowing about 14 points a game.
He says Klub will need to produce with his feet, and we will need to win the TO margin to win. Hard to argue with him. But hey, anything can happen!

Matchups make games. The crazy thing is there's only like 4 teams in the playoffs Clemson does not match up with. UGA(coaching), ND (Leonard with a good OL), Boise St(I don't want to see Jeanty break 30 tackles), and Ohio State (Imo most dangerous offense).
This is not to say Clemson beats everyone else these are the 4 teams i feel like would be and should be favored by 2 scores or more.

…they have a great defense, including the top pass defense.
If Mafah was fully healthy it would be different.
Also, don’t sleep on Texas’ running game. Both their backs are very good, as well as their OL.

They’ve played terrible passing teams - completely one dimensional with little ability to throw downfield.

I swear y'all just make up stuff sometimes and then get it in your head like it's a fact. Texas has played the #11 passing offense, #12 passing offense twice, the #22 passing offense, and the #53 passing offense. 5 teams in the top 55 is pretty typical. For example, we've played #15, #19, #20, #26, and #51. There are other teams who have played better passing offenses, but they haven't played terrible passing teams on average. Their average is exactly the national average.

Tigers don’t care about all the games we took our starters out and how that looks on their ratings.
These Tigers are scratching mad underdogs ready to make a run in the Playoffs!
Dabo knows motivation for the playoffs & BIG games!
Let’s go WIN Tigers!

That is entirely irrelevant. I'm talking about the stats of our opponents, not ours.

I would not say Texas had a tougher schedule.

I would say Texas had a similar schedule, but the best team it beat in conference was 8th-place Texas AM. The other conference wins were the bottom six, which Clemson would have run through, too, IMO. If Texas sees Tenn, SC, Bama, Ole Miss or LSU in the regular season, heck it may not even be in the playoff. Maybe they prove me wrong, but I think Texas is overrated.

That’s kinda what I’ve been saying all along. We have to play four quarters of complimentary football. We kinda did against App St but that’s it. Cane we? No doubt! Will we? I doubt it. Turnover margin is huge though. We have to keep Ewers under pressure. He has a QBR of 12 under pressure!

If this game is close at the half it’s likely because Ewers is struggling with his ankle, then Sark probably does like Saban (Tua in for Jalen). A future under Manning could start on Saturday with everything on the line.
