Wow.. He's big, fast, strong, smooth, high points the ball with good body control. Seems like he loves to block, he's out there pancaking dbs. I'm impressed.

He’s strong and fast but based on that tape doesn’t have to use his hands to beat jams which he will see at the college level.
I’m a big star guy and clearly believe to win championships you need 5 and high 4 stars (which Ngata is) but based on tape what has me most excited has nothing to do with his receiver talent but his ability and willingness to finish blocks. He looks absolutely nasty on the blocking end which is harder to teach than all the nuances of WR. Great pickup and excited about his and Ladsons future.

Based on what we see he loves contact. While it’s true he isn’t jammed on his level I strongly believe he will be able to do it.

I think so too. As strong as he looks I don’t think being jammed will be that big of a deal for him. Plus as fast & athletic as he is I doubt he gets the jam attempts put on him often. That’s a live by/die by move anyway

And he's from Folsom, the song Johnny Cash did at San Quinton where Merle Haggard was bedded down which inspired the young man , and subsequently he got his life straightened out and became a legend in his own right .
That's beast.

Among the D-1 athletes coming out of this program is Jake Browning, the 3-year starting QB for Washington.
He took Folsom to a state title in 2013.
They won another in 2014 (68-7) but i couldn't find the QB name. Then they went unbeaten last year.

He’s big, he’s fast, he’s got great hands but he LOVES contact and that is one thing that I’ve noticed that separates a truly elite receiver from the rest of the great ones. A guy like that will selflessly block for his teammates, he will beat the press and he will win the jump ball battle. That’s exactly what we want at WRU.

That finishes blocks like Ngata. He looks like a skinny OL driving the heck out of his feet

He's a special talent. If I was coaching him, I'd have to give him a try at TE in our program. With a few more pounds, he'd be what we need as the 3-back and could give piggy-back rides all day long.
