Since one participant HAS to win, and I dislike BOTH participants, instead of pulling FOR somebody, I will pull against the team that I hate more. Sorry, Georgia, but that’s you. Pulling against you. At least that comes naturally to me.

We'll see how it goes. I think the Dawgs win. Either way, I'll still be a UGA fan. You think after the game most of you guys will revert to being Clemson fans or just continue on rooting for Bama? You guys have been Bama fans since about 10pm, September 4th. That's a long time.

Probably won't watch any of the pre game eSECpn love fest and very little of the game. I should be pulling for Georgia for personal reasons but really don't care since the SEC will have all the bragging rights for the coming year after the game.
If only Cincinnati ,or Michigan had won their game, it would give us something to watch.

Oh AFDAWG you are wrong. I have been a secondary Bama fan for most of my life because of Frank Howard, Bear Bryant, Dabo Swinney and the host of Assistant assistant coaches Clemson has had throughout the years. But I will not watch the entirety of the game, only highlights at the best. My Bama friends have always pulled for Clemson when they weren’t playing Bama. I cannot say the same for the DAWGS & the COOTS. It seems like the both of them are some CRAZY BEDFELLOWS!!!!!!!

root against Georgia, even when they are playing Bama. Bama has some of the most entitled fans in the world, but they have the trophy case to back it up, at least.
Georgia fans seem to be just as, or even MORE entitled than Bama fans, and they do NOT have the trophy case to back it up. Yes, they own the historical series against us, and never let us forget it.
I never let THEM forget that their greatest player, Herschel Walker, NEVER found the end zone against us. And, that beating them, and him, propelled us to our first Natty in 1981, which just happens to be a year AFTER their ONLY one. Also doesn't hurt that we have two SINCE then, BOTH against...ALABAMA.
So, for me at least, it is pretty easy to say ROLL TIDE in this game and mean it.

You reminded me of my fun with that Herschel trivia, 76.
While I was in the Ga ANG, the Adjutant General was a Georgia grad. When he found out I was a Clemson grad, he would always want to talk college football with me whenever he saw me. It was all good - he was a really great guy - and I am of the opinion it helped my career (good relationships are never a bad thing). Anyway, at various times during our many ‘repartees’, I brought up the Herschel Walker stat. I found out it actually was a sore spot for him (the first time I mentioned it to him, I think he actually clinched/ground his teeth). But it was all in good fun, as all kidding with a senior officer should be, hah! And a fond memory!

The good news is either one of them winning does not mean four more years of the same old BS. But then, again, as we all should know by now: Same Shiite, Different Party, regardless. Sigh….
