A cautionary tale to the folks who always seem to panic when we miss out on some of our targets! It's not always the end of the world!
I remember Clemson having to "just be happy with a kid called Mike Williams"! We missed out on Malachi Dupree who went to LSwho. Ahhh, Clemson won that one hands down and a foot!
We got Etienne; if I understood the story right, because a kid we thought we were getting went somewhere else rather last second.
Sometimes it's "addition" by "subtraction"!

I think that things like being talked about with Justin Flowe, the last minute change of heart is planned by the recruit in most cases to try and hurt our program for what ever their reason may be!!! Has no one else ever felt that when a high profile recruit all of a sudden changed their mind at the last minute, and leave coaches scrambling to fill that slot!!!

I love watching Simpson in pursuit from the back side of the play. Looks like he is about to blindside devour the ball carrier before he has a chance to get to the line of scrimmage everytime.

We signed five stars Tre Lamar, Shaq Smith, and three star Skalski that year. Lamar had a couple of good years, left a year early, and didn't make it it the pros. Smith didn't do much, left for MD, and didn't do much there. Skalski has been the gem of that LB class.

Flowe was a beast for UO in the first game this year. It's too bad injuries have destroyed his college career so far.
Simpson is built for the long term. He will be great at the next level also.
