Was on the phone with a friend this weekend and he mentioned he used one alot, said a chiropractor got them using one. For $40, it seems like it might be worth the chance to get some relief when needed. I drove alot this weekend and sitting in the car for 8+ hours sucked.

I tried one for my shoulder pain a few years ago (enflamed muscle leading to frozen shoulder). I was open to trying almost any non-pain-pill option because it was nearly unbearable. I bought a mid-tier unit which was like 50'ish dollars, and at first it seemed to work well. It would alleviate the pain for the few minutes it was suiggested to use it, but I noticed the pain returned worse after using it. Decided the short reprieve wasn't worth the worse pain afterward, so stopepd using it.

Shoulder still sucks now, but the pain has lessened over the last few years.

Bought one from med supplier 15+ yrs ago when I was doing a lot of power lifting. My recovery time was 100% shortened.
I still use a lot for long road trips.
Good stretching route plus a tens = happy Pabst.

Please note I've not tried ballsax.
