I don't know if they will rebuild. Hooters has kind of petered out. Not much call for throwing frisbees with pantyhose-wearing waitresses out in the parking lots anymore.
I think the guy that started it (a Clemson man) sold out and is the money behind Twin Peaks.

one of my first girlfriends when I was in early high school was a waitress from that location
I didn't know that about Twin Peaks. Now it makes more sense. I always wondered what the Clemson tie was form them when the ROAR picked them for their breast cancer awareness location

The idea behind Hooters started with a Clemson Dad (from Clearwater, FL). Ate a burger 🍔 downtown that was not very good, but the waitress wore a white Clemson T-shirt and Orange running shorts (like all the coeds). He told his wife the burger was bad, but he would come back again for the waitress! Back in Clearwater, he and some friends reopened a beach bar, that was a hit. Bought the Orange shorts from the Tiger Sports Shop, printed the Owl 🦉 T-Shirts in Tampa .
A Clemson Grad took over the Company and took it global! After he died, a corporation took over the company, downhill since…..

I too have a VIP spot at Peaks, but the Greenville Hooters has a great staff.
Give it a whirl next time Peaks is a bit dead.....
