He knows that in 2026 the CFP is expanding to 16 teams. No more teams having byes. All games except final 4 to be played at home fields of winners play off games. SEC AND BIG will each get 4 automatic bids to the top 4 teams in each of their conferences. They will probably get an additional 2 entries each on the at large bids. That leaves 4 slots for the peasants to fight over. The cfp is going to be the SEC/BIG CFP with them getting the loot come hail or high water.

😁😁😁😄. He knows with 6 spots from SEC IN CFP, TENN WILL PRETTY MUCH BE IN THE CFP. That's a good spot to be. So if you are a DC wanting to be a HC what more could you ask for to show what you can do?

That would surprise me based upon their performance in this year's CFP. I know they have an inordinate amount of power but they'll certainly get a lot of pushback...at least I hope so.
