"Process" so entrenched now, coaches are just "Plug and Play" pieces that can vary from year to year with no dropoff in success. Love him or hate him, you gotta admire what he has been able to do, and is STILL doing.

For most of my adult life, I never thought any college coach, anywhere, would ever be able to surpass what Bear Bryant did at Alabama all those years. Well, Nick Saban has done it, and the fact that he did it, also at Alabama, is just that much more amazing. To do it in the era where all schools are, at least on paper, limited to an equal number of scholarships just adds to the legend.
