I attended game one and game two. Hate I won’t make it tmrw but last time I was there they beat us on dantzler walk off. We beat ourselves again. Kept hearing how they were back. They have a few good arms but what happens when you have guys throwing hard and barrel meets it. That’s what we have been doing. Just a few mistakes away. I believe and it’s gonna take some time but we aren’t that far. Bakich and crew are the right fit. He cares about his players and coaches them unlike from the other side. A lot of people at game today don’t know baseball and they’re for a social event and to talk smack. Mostly sc. you’d think they’d act like they have been there with a rich history in baseball. They say we worship dabo omg they kept on looking up to Beamer in the suites. Mouthy bunch. Even they announced the lineups and I heard a guy saying wow brewer is playing. I wanted to say dude they announce all the players have you not been following your team and know he doesn’t play much. Those are special breeds. Proud to be a tiger and never a coot. Our time is coming. Let them think kingston is the answer again. Oh sec play is coming for them.

I agree 100%. We are already a much better team than last year. Once we get the pitching worked out we will be alright, but that might take a year.

Didn’t last year’s team start 15-0? How is the lineup better after losing Max Wagner?
The pitching staff is the same or worse. I wish we were “a much better team than last year” but I don’t see how one could conclude a 5-5 start to be better than last year.

everyone wants to compare last year being 15-0. While that’s awesome an all but look who we played during that stretch. Look who we have played. Sc might be good but still who have they played so far? People acted like they were world beaters and no chance vs them. I’m not saying we are winning today but we beat the best pitcher they have Friday and beat them good. Yesterday we kept coming back. Just pitch here and there was the difference. Had the go ahead run at the plate. We are saying the fight and culture is much better. Ok we lost wagner. Guess what wagner had a stellar year for one year. Guys sometimes have solid careers or sometimes just a one season type. Wagner sorry just had one great season.

guided eyes, Beamer accomplished in only his 2nd try what his predecessors had not been able to do in six straight, which was to get a win over us. Now, it was a gifted win, but a win nonetheless.

I completely agree with everything you just said! My best friend and I have gone to both games of the series so far and have tickets to tomorrow’s as well! We’ll cheer extra loud for you. Although the game didn’t go our way today, you’ve got love the fight of this team. I still think we’ll make the tournament but even if we don’t, I think our program’s future is bright! I really wish we had Ryan available this weekend as he greatly improves our pitching depth. Despite our limited options, I still think we can find a way to win tomorrow. Hopefully Barlow feels healthy enough to give us 2-3 innings. It would also greatly help if Weiss can return. Clayton and Bailey should be good to go as well!!! Can’t wait! Maybe we can meet up at one of the home games this year and grab a bite to eat at the Esso Club afterward!!!

Sounds good. I’m sometimes in Cajun but mostly beside the dugout. I heckle some. Wear a greene or colvin jersey some. If ever see the swinney boys then I’m close.

Good ball game!! Listened to it in the garage while piddling and next thing I know. It had me passing in the garage. Love the fight there at the end. We had the chickens worried.

They have been playing hard. Even in the 9th inning we didn’t quit yesterday. What the staff has done with Grice is what you are looking for. Maybe balance him out a little but he was terrible last year. 11 games in he doesn’t have one homerun. But he is making good contact and his batting average is up. Would love to see him get the power up. As a team we have struggled with power. I believe we have 9 home runs as a team. And half of them come from 7 of them are split between 3 players. And Walks are what the pen has to work on. We out hit South Carolina yesterday and loss. We out hit UCF 2 games and still loss. Means other teams are scoring too many runs off of walks. But the team has been close to being really good. Have to put it altogether.
