FSU

I wonder how the start of their season will effect their recruiting this year? Perhaps we could peel off a couple of their commitments.

Hunter is the number one recruit on some boards, wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't decommit if the losing continues.

So far, their season is no different than the last four

So just look at their last four classes to answer that question:

2021 - 22nd
2020 - 22nd
2019 - 18th
2018 - 11th

The unbelievable train wreck that is their athletic administration and fundraising has 100% had a negative impact on their recruiting. They're still geting a little benefit of the doubt and they're located in one of the holy grails of recruits, so it could be worse.

Maybe FSU needs to use the old Uncle Sam "I need you" mentality ,but with a twist;
"Please, pretty please, with candy kisses, please come to FSU.

Kids who want to go to FSU will continue to do so...

regardless of the train wreck their program has become or the actual results on the field.

Look no further than uof6c as a prime example. Even though there are a number of other better schools and programs throughout the southeast, the Capons still manage to occasionally land a good player or two (albeit under questionable circumstances) in spite of the fact that they are historically a perennial doormat and bottom feeder.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

The ND game (looking worse and worse now) gave their recruiting a temporary boost as the coaching staff was able to say "look, we're turning the corner like we said we would!" and then last weekend brought it all crashing down.

If they lose to Wake this weekend, I think the foundational cracks start opening up even more and you might see some departures from the class, specifically the guys that are drawing interest from programs that are actually good.
