Technically that Illinois’s coach was a major ###### bag and we’d be feeling the same way. That guy had a smug look on his face the entire game and he was purposely subbing his guys late and telling them to slowly trot off the field so that the coots would have to either hurry up take a timeout or get a delay of game penalty and it didn’t help that he had an injured player walk towards their sideline gave them the substitution injury signal which was clearly taunting so as much as we dislike the coots I think their coach had a valid point there and if it were a game with Dabo, I would’ve wanted to see Dabo go out on the 50 yard line and punch the #### out of that fat a$$ coach.

I suggest you learn the full story by listening to both coaches post game interviews.
Coach Bielema was NOT using a illegal substitution signal. He was doing a fair catch signal, which the coots had used on the prior kickoff. Shane had gotten permission from refs prior to the kickoff to use that signal (spreading hands/arms out, without waiving them) to NOT mean a fair vatch.

Watch both interviews. Shane's trickery was noticed and was not appreciated by Coach Bielema.
