I just signed up today and wanted to say ive been all clemson my whole life i live in North Carolina and it sux sometimes to listen to these tarheel fans but i always give as much as i can take. Our team has struggled the past couple years i dont pretend to be a coach i never bash our coaches or players but i love basketball and just my opinion but if we could just have something great happen like getting that one special player to get us over the hump maybe its rooks maybe not but im very hopeful for the future go tigers!!!

Welcome aboard.
Think it's tough living in N.C. and having to listen to those tarheel fans.You can live in the upstate and hear from coot fans(that's Gamecocks)as well.
I too try not to bash our players,but if our coachs are not doing the job,I think it's ok to criticize them.
Regarding basketball:Rooks maybe a contributing factor next season,but Brownell is going to need more than that.I was mid court Thursday nite watching all 5 starters for the Holes score in double digits while the best we could offer was double digits by our two seniors.
I also saw a UNC team that could handle the ball( 9 turnovers vs 15 for Clemson).
As far as having something great happen,I do not believe in those types of miracles.You got to be able to recruit,especially shooters,and so far Brownell has not had much success in getting "basketball" players.Only time will tell if Brownell is able to give us that hope.

Very true! It amazes me how tarheel fans can gloat over their team every year but my goodness the talent that they get i feel anyone could be successful with those guys. I also cant stand gamecocks i dont have a second or third favorite team like some do clemson has been my favorite since i was about 7 dont get me wrong i respect those other teams fans and coaches but thats about where it begins and ends. Im just not sure about brownell as most of you are like i said its hard for me personally to criticize another person cause there is no way i could do any better. Over the last 10 years we went from one extreme to another with purnells furious pace vs brownells slower motion offense im sure both offenses have their advantages but im just not sure which fit is best for clemson.
