Biden How bad is he really?

A recent presidential rating making it’s way about the internet shows JRB rated as the 14th best president ever. The same ranking shows DJT in last place
OK … exactness isn’t worth discussing, but top half for JRB and bottom half for DJT … shows JRB is the better choice this November.
No, I don’t consider the list perfect (JKPolk, one of my top five, is 28th) but still … last place compared to 14th …
Yes, I consider JRB the better choice … but I am open to examination. I know several good points for both candidates and several bad points for each. We have the good fortune to compare since both have presidential experience.
So … many folks who write-in here support DJT enthusiastically and some support JRB - with far less vigor. Would y’all respond with two good points for your preferred candidate and two bad points for the other … two just to keep it sensible? Facts only … for example JRB has not weaponized the Justice Department, so don’t assert that he has.
My two are: JRB respects and honors our military (+ on Defense) and JRB allows the Justice Department to be independent (+ on Justice). DJT labels our military “losers” (- on Defense) and is cozy with dictatorial leaders (- on State).
Thanks in advance …

“JRB allows the Justice Department to be independent”, you moved to the top of the “dumbest person in TNet list”.
Second of all: FJB: green new deal, ESG investing mandates
DJT: no ESG mandates, more secure border
If you need 1000 more examples; please pull your head from your #### first.

The Justice Department is independent from Biden. You just fell for more MAGA Trump bullship. I think the case in NY is partisan, but not directed by Biden.

No candidate relevant facts were presented but I recognize that your taking time to respond is worthy of honor, so thank you.

You would have had the same inflation under Trump. The border you are correct on.
Everything else you write there is basically gibberish. There were wars when he was in office. Nothing would have changed with these wars either if Trump were in office. The only difference is Trump would have supported Putin.

I’ll help you out with another example.
Congressional investigations about the Biden family’s extortion and bribery of foreign companies which had employed Hunter Biden as an unqualified high paid ‘consultant’ (bag man) may be bad, but the same thing would have happened if Trump were president; Donald Trump Jr. would have done the same thing as Hunter Biden. Therefore, both are equally bad. Verdict: A tie.
Does that work for you?

People weren't racing in to live in the in the USA through the border from Central and South America, Asia, back then. They would die if they wanted to pull that off back then. We didnt even have infrastructure. Arizona was even a state until the early 1900's, the same with New Mexico. Tex and Califorinia around 1850 or so. There was the Alamo, but that was before Texas was a state. That border was secure then just due to the situation. It wasn't an issue until a more modern USA and it's never been worse.

A lot of the hype has people believing “it’s never been worse.” By all estimates there were more illegal aliens in the US in 2007. Today’s estimates are getting close to that number again, but it’s not what Fox News and Donald von Shitzinpants want you to believe. The total “illegal” population fluctuates around 10 million. It goes up and down based on outside factors and domestic factors like the current labor shortage. Fox is good about giving you just enough information with just the right slant that a simple mind will believe the population is actually increasing by millions per year.

There have been a couple of surges after the special Covid rules. There are just more apprehensions now, because more border patrol agents among the reasons. The actual rate of illegal immigration isn’t actually accelerating as you believe. It has surged many times before but people were worried about other things. GOP has been masterful creating issues, one after another. Gay marriage, death panels, human trafficking, to get this subculture so worked up. And they fall for it every time.

Just to remind the shi t-eaters how important immigrants are: 5% of US workers are undocumented, over 20% total are immigrants. Much of that 5% do the jobs most citizens are unwilling to do.

We need many of them for work. It's more nuanced than that though. Did you watch 60 Minutes this past week? Everyone that works on the border knows it is a problem. NYC knows its a problem. Denver knows it is a problem. I don't mind the immigrants, at all, but the situation now is a major problem.

The large majority of asylum see,ing illegal immigrants were accepted into Mexico.
Mexico let them in; Mexico should keep them.
Asylum seekers don’t get to venue shop. We don’t need them to come in via non-legal means. Nor should any come in that way.
Stay in Mexico. If Mexico doesn’t like it, then Mexico can get off their duffs and keep the illegals from getting into Mexico.

OK … JRB … (- on Treasury) and (- on HSA)
And DJT … (+ on Treasury) and (+ on overall)
I categorized your comment about career politicians hating him as a plus. One would not customarily consider hate as a positive item but I understand and share your disdain for folks who make a career in politics. Mostly, though, I think the statement is factual.
Regarding your two leading statements about inflation, you see how I marked them. Generally presidents have minimal effect on inflation but your two statements are factual … and you led with them, so thank you.

Source for the "presidential rating making its way about the internet?"
? Jill Biden. I guess she was trying to be modest.
Biden according to a Reuters poll from last Monday has Biden with a 36% approval rating from American citizens which ties his previous lowest rating. I suspect his approval rating is significantly higher among the newcomers now living in America.
It's a true shame Americans can't recognize the true greatness of one Joseph Robinette Biden,Jr..

Approval and disapproval ratings are from likely voters. Trump's low approval rating was 34%. His favorability rating is something like 43% now though. He and Biden have about the same unfavorable ratings though. I think it will just come down to how the turnout is in the swing states.

Documentary evidence in the GA Trump / election interference -&- Fed Trump / confidential documents tells a different story.
OBiden Handlers Admin’s lawyers were in direct contact with the prosecution in both of these cases.
This, my friend, is what true election interference … from within the incumbent WH, no less … looks like.
OBiden Handlers Admin and the agencies that have gone passively (probably eagerly) along with this state-sanctioned criminality are starting to soil themselves at the possibility of a second Trump presidency’s DoJ conducting a thorough investigation. FBI, DoJ, and WH counsel are big worried. As they should be.

In response to Championsof81, your initial statement is not based upon fact and will not be used. Also you make no statements regarding DJT.
JRB … (- on Treasury) and (- on Defense)
The ranking on which I based my requests is a comparison and a comparison is what I have requested, so I will insert that you consider DJT is better than Biden on the points that you present.
DJT … (+ on Treasury) and (+ on Defense)

Here's my 2 and 2:

2 Good Points for Biden: 1) He believes strongly in Democracy; 2) He inherited an absolute mess, and we're now free and clear of what he inherited with the economy mending, crime-wave reversing, and pandemic ended.
2 Bad Points for Trump: 1) He does not believe in Democracy or our alliances, but instead has a soft spot for authoritarians & dictators; 2) He will put undue political pressure on both the Fed and the DOJ, and it will have awful consequences if he gets his way.
I could do waaaaaaaayyy more than two on both sides, but I'll stick with the original request.

What action on the part of Joe Biden ended the global pandemic?
Same question goes for Putin, Xi, Maron, Trudeau, et al.
The pandemic ran its course and the actions of Biden had virtually nothing to do with the ending of the pandemic.

He did not "end" the pandemic....

But his team did a few things that helped facilitate the end of the pandemic:
1) Vaccine rollout was outstanding and quick. We were far ahead of other countries in making the rollout available to our overall population.
2) Testing - Biden implemented some things to make testing more available & free to the overall population, so more people could find out quick and easier if they had the virus, and could quarantine themsselves to keep others out of harm's way.
3) Health Insurance - Extended some periods where no one was dis-enrolled from Medicaid and extended special enrollment periods for Obamacare, so that people in certain jobless situations were still able to get medical care without bankrupting themselves.
4) 2021 ARP - Extended unemployment benefits & more stimulus checks were sent, to give people financial cushion during the height of the pandemic, so more people could afford to stay home and not get others sick.
This is not an exhaustive list of what Team Biden did during the pandemic. But I would argue that expecially #1 and #2 helped the US get into a period of calming seas by 2022.

I can make a list and send it around the interwebs too. Would people actually accept it as gospel?
On my list, Joe Biden is not the worst president of all time.
It is close though.

Thanks for the note. You present that JRB is better than some; it reads like you do not agree with the listing that puts him 14th. Your note does not mention DJT, ranked last on the subject list. Since I am looking for comparisons and since you did not present anything about DJT … and since your statement about Biden is opinion - thus not assured to be factual - I will not include it.
It takes time and effort to write and respond. Thanks for that. Aloha …

I only talked about Biden because that’s what your subject line mentioned.
BTW, are you saying that this list of opinions is factual?

As I understand the list, it was based on facts. The facts were examined and a relative value affixed thereto … and this was done for each president. All those numbers were then crunched into one number for each president … 46 total numbers. Rank reflects the highest total to lowest total.
Opinion affected the affixing of each value to each fact. The rankings therefore are subjectively biased.

I’ve seen plenty of movies based on facts that turned out to not be true stories. Just like this list.
I appreciate your last two sentences. They are true.
