Firing A Coach During An Already Challenging Pandemic Season .... ---

Nov 16, 2020, 2:01 AM

.....pretty classless in my opinion.

I myself love watching Clemson beat the feathers off those poultry swamp creatures.

People sure know how to mess up a good thing.

This season is pretty much a season with a dark cloud around it no matter how well any team does this year. These kids are just out here trying to keep together in some way.......coaches too. Nobody should be fired for the results of this year.

That X chicken made more money a year than a dozen average families will make in a lifetime. I don't feel bad for any D-1 college HC that gets fired!!!!

Everyone gets a trophy.

"These kids are just out here trying to keep together in some way" HUH!

They range in ages from 18-22. They ain't kids.

"Trying to keep together" What's stopping them from keeping together?

I can assure you a large number of the "kids" are more interested in whose buying the beer and what tail their getting next than they are worrying about anything else that so many "adults" are freaking out about.

They are in college and probably laugh their butts off at the number of adults who are running around frantic at the possibility of some millionaire getting fired or a possible positive or negative test on rather they have a cold

As a native to the state and one of those that ran around in a t-shirt as a 5 year old that said Clemson Tiger Class of 19?? I have had a long time to observe the chickens. I must say firing Muschamp during this season demonstrates to the team and some players a lack of vision. If they are to succeed, they need someone with a commitment to a long range plan. They will not be a quick turnaround. They do not need just a football coach.

I think they've got some talent. However their really bad at hiring coaches down there. Spurrier being the only successful one in my era, and even then what did they have to show for it? Even Holtz was a bad hire because it was a known short term deal that provided minimal results outside of fan excitement due to name recognition only
