This team would literally be 4-0 with a good QB. Maybe 3-1.
Any arguments for that? I don’t see an argument against it being that Cade has thrown away multiple opportunities in the trash.
If a portal QB was taken, which you wouldn’t because our starter was the Heisman favorite, nobody is talking about any firing or anything like this.
That’s all it comes down to I promise you. A good and proven QB be likely out of portal. Look at FSU. Notre Dame 2024. Etc etc etc

Clemson has to get more physical in the trenches. Any qb, no matter how elite, is going to look avg at best behind a weak, soft oline.

Yep, Paul is right, trying to look at it objectively. It’s gone South, and not just for the winter. When your time is up, it’s up. The problem is, CDS is does not have an inkling of self-awareness, so it will probably take a firing.

2015-2019 Paul was a total Clemson hater. We were crushing our opponents and he never had positive things to say about Clemson.

Paul and the other 3 that discussed Clemson today were spot on in their analysis.
that being said.........this team w/ or w/o an "elite" qb isn't good enough to be ELITE.........and hasn't been for 5 years now..............too many other issues.

He’s knows it gets Clemson fans engaged, sometimes enraged, and hopefully watching his show.
We are the easiest mark for this.
Why has an SEC network show had a segment on Dabo every day for the last two weeks. He’s even having scheduled segments with reporters to discuss our coach/season. This isn’t just Chris from SC calling in.
I’m also sure he’s very pleased with living in our heads.

Sadly PF is right.
Yes, Roy…a QB playing well would make a difference this year . But we have a vast myriad of problems across the board. Cade playing bad only moved up the horror show by a year. Next year looks discouraging. Cracks are all around…all fixable but now will take…imo…at least two years of sweeping change and execution to get back to be consistently elite. Didn’t have to be this way….all self inflicted.

A good QB throws TD to Tyler Brown against LSU. 7 more points.A good QB does NOT throw a stupid INT at the 5-yard line against GT. No points could’ve been 3.
Cade makes game losing plays. A clean QB fixes this season. No orange shades. That’s logical
