I missed it earlier, but there was a bucknut flashing a sign to our team, "Clemson can't handle the O". I bet that SOB is crying every day.

Can anyone on here just enjoy the national title without trash talking opponents? You have to ask yourself, do West Virginia or FSU fans walk around acting like they own Clemson or trash talk them like Clemson doesn't deserve to share a field with he tigers? Not likely. You can really tell most folks in here have never been there before by the way they post. Have some class and enjoy the success.
Blah blah blah.....go away coot.....shocker. I have two degrees from CU, so ####.

Hahahaha, blah blah blah coot, go away. The first thing I fake Tiger fan always says "I graduated from Clemson" blah blah blah. 56-7 still stings huh? Blah blah blah. You better ###### believe it that everytime a Clemson fan meets a WVU fan, the number 70 comes up. So does the "we beat y'all 5 times in a row" drivel from you coots. Get over it.

I have two degrees and my wife is also a class of 2005 grad of Clemson University. Each of my kids will have at least one. I'm assuming you have zero and likely just a fair weather fan on here talking crap from your moms basement......most alumnus I know have more class than I see in here.

If you and your wife are graduates of CU, why would you not become a donating member? If you are truly a Tiger, and not a coot, it seems like the logical thing to do.

Ohio Tiger Perspective to 31-0
Feb 10, 2017, 8:59 AM

I live in Ohio and have many friends, neighbors, coworkers, and relatives that are Buckeye graduates or just fans. They were merciless a couple of years back leading up to the bowl. I kept my mouth shut and just said "we'll see". After the Tiger win they were filled with excuses then crawled back to their holes. I was not obnoxious to them even though I had every right to be.This year, more of the same. Unending spewing of garbage about the mighty Big 10 and Clemson's soft schedule that they barely got through. They filled my Facebook page with crap about how they beat "the best defense in the land" in the Michigan game while we lost to Pitt. They even called out the Alabama defense as overrated and how they played against bad offenses that made their D look better than they were. After the game, crickets. No excuses, no congratulations, just silence. Not from me this time. Both barrels blazing. 31-0 is nothing to be quiet about. That was an old fashioned curb stomping and they deserve to have to relive it just as we are forced to listen to the crap from Coot fans about their greatest achievement of beating us 5 in a row. Paybacks are hell and they're getting it in spades from me. It is good natured smack talk although a few Bucknuts are a little overly sensitive when they're on the losing end so I'll give them a slight break. Enjoy it while we have it. Tigers are the National Champions. Ohio State just did everyone a favor. The Big10 will never get the benefit of doubt when it comes to getting a second team into the CFP after this showing. In Fact, from here on out when a highly ranked team that is not a conference champion doesn't get into the CFP, they've been BUCKEYED.

I think you have to cut people some slack. We've heard how great these big name teams are. How they get all the presumption of excellence and likewise disrespect to us. It is simply a case of pushback...

The fact that there were so many Clemson doubters makes it that much more funny. We're not one of the media darlings, but we d@mn sure got it done.

@InspectorM,
No question about that! The 2016 Clemson squad was a special team and a special season. It will go down as one of the more impressive seasons in the last few decades. The fact that they got BACK to the playoff a second consecutive year and downed the two top coaches in CFB in consecutive games is pretty unreal! The future is bright in tiger town and Urbs and Nick have not seen the last of Dabo.

I was actually prettt impressed with OSU's defense. They played darn near the whole game due to the team leaving their offense in Columbus and STILL allowed less points than Alabama did. Gotta give them credit for that. An average Defense would have easily given up 60 against DW4! Dudes didn't quit

Few teams/fan bases....

...deserve to lose like this as much as these guys. I've traveled among them and heard their condescension and Upper Midwestern bigotry against the South in general. Their chest-beating over their "storied Big 10 past" is as obnoxious as it gets.
Ohio St. Michigan and Notre Dame most deserve every loss they get...especially by one of the good guys!!
Go Tigers!

I went to a wedding in Virginia this summer in Washington DC where my niece was marrying into a Louisville Family. At the same time the National travel ball tournament was going on and the Hotel was full of Ohio State and Alabama fans. A lot of the family was wearing Clemson stuff and we were very graciously treated by all the fans of other schools. If someone from Washington had been there, we would have had all four playoff teams and the Heisman Trophy represented. I guess being in Washington counts, so it was really weird. The OSU fans were far different from the jerks I remembered in the eighties when I lived near a bunch of OSU and Michigan fans working for Michelin in Greenville who thought that the champion of the Big 10 should automatically be declared National Champion.
