What he says here is the most predominate feature of our program. We play four quarters. May sound cliche', but you look at most of the games over the last 3 years and we clean up in the fourth. We're deep as snot now and getting deeper, so this should continue. Let the RB's pound it for 3 quarters, throw in an ETN and BOOM!
Unless he is resting, or T. Feaster is running hard, only the Tiger's opponent benefits with Etienne on the Tiger bench. ETN changed the entire complexion of ball game today. And Dabo can and should do his best to manage expectations, but the optics are undeniable, ETN is clearly the most explosive pure RB since maybe even before CJ. On a team not as talented or deep, CJ got plenty of touches; hopefully, ETN will begin to get many more touches as well as Clemson does its best to repeat. On a team of singles and doubles hitters, ETN is a HR hitter with a little blocking. And he opens up running and passing lanes for KB that just don't exist without ETN in the game. Just saying ... the word is out. ETN is special!
