I agree ...that is where draft picks go to see their careers die. I would like to see DW go #1 and reap the rewards financially. However, I will be concerned for him because the Browns need an offensive line.

shortcomings, nor must they be aware of all of the superior available QBs. I mean, there's no Logan Thomas or Matt Barkley this year, but there are some who have just as thoroughly failed to demonstrate that they have what it takes.

Exactly, ..if they want DW they better take him at #1 because he won't be available at #12 . I think he goes in the first 8 picks because teams that need a QB will trade up to get him ...especially after the year Dak Prescott had with the Cowboys ...and Deshaun is better than he is at QB.

upsides. I know the Browns are historically bad, which is troubling, but if DeShaun and the young nucleus could somehow overcome all that it would really be something for his legacy.
Also, DeShaun still gets to wear orange.
I bet he becomes tight with LeBron which would really cool from a young athlete's perspective.

I was actually at the Browns last playoff win 23 years ago on New Years Day 1994. The Browns, with Vinny Testaverde at QB and Michael Dean Perry at DT, beat the New England Patriots, with Drew Bledsoe at QB, 20-13 in the AFC Wildcard. The Browns played one more season in Cleveland before moving to Baltimore and becoming the Ravens.
The original Browns were actually a pretty good franchise. They made the playoffs 26 times in their 50 year history with 4 All-American Football Conference Championships (all 4 years of their existence prior to joining the NFL), 4 NFL Championships (before the merger with the AFL and the creation of the Super Bowl), and made 7 more NFL Championship game appearances, but lost. After the merger, they made the AFC Championship three times, only to lose to the Broncos each time.
The original franchise that then moved to Baltimore and became the Ravens have gone on to make the playoffs 10 out of 21 years of existence with 2 Super Bowls. Meanwhile, the expansion Browns have been the dumpster fire that we've come to know them as, with only 2 winning seasons, and 1 playoff appearance (a loss) in 18 years. They've also had three different owners during that time and 9 different head coaches. In their first 49 years of existence, they only had 10 head coaches.

The Browns NEED offensive linemen and defensive players because they have wasted so many draft picks over the years on players like Johnny football. If they want DW they will have to use their #1 because he won't be around at #12. Use the #12 pick on a top offensive lineman to protect him or trade it for some excellent current O-linemen.

Sure, I'll cry if the Browns take him, but they already have RG3 and three or four other QBs. Add to that the fact they have an offensive line as stout as a roll of wet TP and I would think the Browns solidify other needs before they add Watson. No, he'll end up in Santa Clara.

They're all are slow playing Watson. Every single freakin one of them. All these "anonymous scouts" saying he's a lower pick. They're all crazy. #FakeNews. If you are a Pro Team and you need a QB and Watson is available. You would be a FOOLISH not to pick him. The guy is money. These past two years. I have gone into EVERY SINGLE GAME knowing we were going to win. It was comfortable confident feeling. Obviously I was wrong a couple of time, but I felt like we were going to win. And that was a nice feeling. Sure, he's thrown some pics, but I swear, it doesn't faze him. One pick six in his life?!? What?!?!? They need to put Watson name on the other side of Fullers... with the 4 right there in the middle.
