he's similar to Grisham and Humphries. Hunter has WAY more speed and upside than either Tyler or Adam had. Both were good receivers for us but Renfrow is a much better athlete than both imo.

He's a good receiver with great hands and a huge heart. He is not a 4.2 guy though - very few are. The only two Tigers in recent years to run a laser timed sub 4.3 are J.Ford (4.24) and C.J. Spiller (4.28) Adams average time per NFL was 4.53

Adam is faster than Renfrow but I believe that Renfrow is a little bigger and has more ball skills. Adam was a legit 4.4 guy. Renfrow is more of a 4.5/4.6 guy.

Hunter R. was just uncoverable from a one-on-one standpoint. Also was a H.S. quarterback which has it's own upside. I'm thinking he may end up having more in common with a Danny Amendola.

These are the stories that i love to see. Kid practices with his mom as QB & ends up starting WR for Clemson. You cant make this stuff up. My only problem with this story has nothing to do with Renfrow starting because he deserves every bit of time he gets to play, my problem is they are replacing Hopper for him & keeping Peake in. I personally think Hopper is way more deserving to be in the starting lineup ahead of Peake. Peake doesnt want to go up for a ball, it seems if it doesnt drop right in his pocket he doesn't want anything to do with it. Not to mention all the dropped passes. But what do i know, im not the coach or a player so its just me ranting.

Peake did do a good job blocking, particularly the knock down block on the Gallman 69 yard TD run.

Its hard to belive that Renfrow is a FRESHMAN! I wouldnt br that surprised if he was a senior "getting his turn" but he has crazy talent and will be a major contributer in years to come. On the other hand, Yall are trashing Peake so much but what has Hopper done this season? Been practicality non existent while Peake has had his moments. This was the right move and hopefully Cain will overtake Peake in 2 weeks or so.

I'm not. Hunter goes and gets the ball with his hands. He fights for everything he gets because he knew his time was limited. And the coaches saw his hard work and said Here you go kid go do work. That catch in the rain against ND told me enough.. He went up in a freaking DOWN POUR and plucked that ball out the sky like some Nuk Hopkins type mess. i was like #### this dude has some hands.

Renfrow appears to be (thru 5 games, at least) a slightly better combo of Grisham & Humphries. Quick, nice route-runner, good in space & great hands. Clutch player. Good for him!

I told a gamecock yesterday that our best WR was a walk-on Freshman. He was shocked. Kudos to the coaching staff for recognizing the tremendous lift he gives to the team. Congrats to Hunter.

What I like most about this is even though we are 5-0 and just dominated GT we are still making changes and trying to get better. This makes us better.
I think at some point Cain will get past Peake for that starting spot and I love that you have to earn your spot on our team.
