Etymologies

Lawrence comes from the Latin "Laurentius" which originates from Laurentium, or the "city of laurels", in Italy. Laurels, or course, was the Roman symbol of Victory!
Burrow, or course, means to dig a hole and cover yourself up.
Nuff said?

Another interesting note - Brice is a proto-franc-celtic meaning "speckled"
I just thought it meant "winning" but that is actually Etienne (from Stephen) or to crown or wreath.

Maybe there was supposed to be an "n" in there, though.

Just before midnight on Monday, Laurentius will raise the crown to his head. It will be etched in gold with Clemson on the front and Veni, Vidi, Vici on the back.
