ESPN Unlimited

Anyone that is a YouTube TV customer try upgrading to ESPN Unlimited? Don’t know if this will give access to all of the games or not. If I try to watch games on the app with my ESPN+ subscription, I get a message these channels are not available through my TV provider.

Espn unlimited does.

You need to log out of YTTV as your TV Provider within the ESPN app. Then log back in with your ESPN subscription.

ESPN Unlimited gives you access to all games (even those on ESPN+) for $29.95 a month.
As a YTTV customer, I signed up for it once this nonsense began. But they better get something worked out soon cause I'm not going to keep paying for both. Do not like having to switch between apps.

eSECpn charges $29.95 a month and YouTube TV only kicks back a one-time twenty buck rebate to their customers for the loss of Disney/eSECpn channels??

log in with the id you used to sign up for espn + on your tv after clicking on the app on your tv. Then there is a number in the activate for your tv. then go to espn.com/activate(or something similar it says that on tv I think). you enter the number from your tv there. then it will work on your tv. I had to do that for 2 tvs to set it up. It worked on its own on the third tv for whatever reason when I went to set that tv up. I clicked on the espn app, and espn started working on that third tv.

You're playing right into Disney's hands.
Disney/ESPN jacked up their rates on DISH and Sling in 2022, caused DISH and Sling to go without for a while until they caved.
https://www.sportspro.com/broadcast-ott/ott-and-digital/dish-espn-disney-sling-carriage/
"Dish accused Disney of walking away from the negotiating table after demanding a US$1 billion increase in the fee paid for the carrier.
Disney jacked up their rates on DirecTV in 2024, caused DirecTV to go without for a while.
https://www.cnn.com/2024/09/14/business/disney-directv-deal-abc-espn
DirecTV filed a complaint Saturday with the Federal Communications Commission alleging Disney did not negotiate in good faith as the two sides remain at an impasse on a distribution deal.
“Disney has violated the FCC’s good faith mandates by predicating any licensing agreement on DIRECTV’s waiving any legal claims on Disney’s past, current, or future anticompetitive actions, including its ongoing packaging and minimum penetration demands,” a DirecTV spokesperson told CNN on Sunday.
In the 10-page complaint, DirecTV claimed the negotiations stalled because, “Disney insists on bundling and penetration requirements that a federal district court judge in New York recently found in the context of the ‘Venu’ joint venture to be unlawful, anticompetitive, and ‘bad for consumers.’”
Disney jacked up their rates on both Spectrum and Charter in 2024, caused both Spectrum and Charter customers to go without for a while.
https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/news/espn-spectrum-dispute-updates/e1be289061e0945bc8b868c7
In the document, Charter listed out the following as reasons for the ongoing stalemate between the two sides, putting the blame on Disney:
* The multichannel video product is too expensive and packages don’t meet consumer needs * Customers are leaving the traditional video ecosystem and losses have accelerated * We still believe video is an important part of our connectivity offering, but the video product has been devalued and the ecosystem is broken * Disney – so far – has insisted on a traditional long-term deal with higher rates and limited packaging flexibility * Charter proposed a model that creates a better value for consumers and the industry
Disney owns Hulu and Fubo, and they WANT to force you onto their platforms.

Very bad interface. Better off going with Sling orange plus sports package. About the same monthly price and better interface. Also app can be downloaded on your tv where ESPN is not available yet from my understanding.
