Was a 5 star when first reported. Must have lost one for coming to Clemson?

He's only a 5 Star on Rivals. ESPN has not given any 2017 prospects 5 stars yet.

ESPN has no 5* rated players for 2017 as of yet ... they

I think it has less to do with lowering Clemson recruit rankings than to raise the ratings of those that wait till the end to draw interest to the sites around signing day. There are so many prospects that were in the top 25 over the summer that are much lower now.
