Ukraine v Russia
Feb 25, 2022, 6:03 PM
|
|
I am a huge WWII buff. My grandfather was a master chief on the USS Tambor and was in the battle of Midway.
They didn't sink much but when two Japanese destroyers where fleeing the Midway scene, my grandfather's sub surfaced and panicked them so much they ran into each other causing a great deal of damage and much embarrassment.
Anyway, this Ukraine deal is big. Russia is not to be trusted and you don't want them or China taking over legitimate democracies. Finland mentioned joining NATO and Russia threatened them with military force!
This is a bipartisan issue and should concern us not is left v right but democracy v communism/ fascism.
I know we are divided right now but the the US and the legitimate world democracies should be alarmed. Russians in Moscow were arrested for protesting the war, we need little reminding of how their people are repressed.
Oh yeah, one more thing, Patton might have been a little off his rocker at the end of WWII but he did have one thing right, we should have moved on Russia after Germany fell - Stalin was a major POS.

I am not sure even MacArthur or Douglas - would sign up for what we call a military right now. It is really a shame.

Next up is Taiwan. China will move swiftly and the “democracies” will do nothing as usual. Just a bunch mouthing off like good little democracies do. Anyone who has read Unrestricted Warfare knows China declared war on the U.S. some years ago and they are following their plan. People better start worrying about this country for we are in the bullseye and the infiltrators are already here in mass. Sadly, John Kerry is more concerned over global warming. Just indicative of our supposed leadership today.

Kerry is concerned about global warning as that’s his role. We have sec of state, sec of defense, CIA and others that will address PRC and other threats.

And we are stupid enough to furnish China with the money they are using to build the military that will destroy us.

Big WWII fan as well. Not sure how historically accurate, but I was thinking about the end of Patton movie when he said “what we ought to be doing is re arming these Germans and fighting the Russians while we have the army here. Give me two weeks and I’ll start a war with the mongoloid Russians and make it look they started”. Classic lol.

The Allies and Russia were interesting bedfellows
Feb 25, 2022, 6:47 PM

but Roosevelt and Churchill did not trust or care much for Stalin. Russia wanted to get to Berlin first to loot it.
Russian leadership was like they are now, major pieces of s.
Maybe the Allies should have told Russia in no uncertain terms, go home after Berlin fell. But we kept our word, something Putin doesn't do.

That is what MacArthur told Russia when they tried to take Formosa after entering the war for a few weeks.

This is a bipartisan issue and should concern us not was left v right but democracy v communism/ fascism.
The bipartisan aspect is that both the blue and red wings of the corruption bird, state department, and Intelligence community use Ukraine as laundering service. To protect their financial interests routed through Ukraine they will try to make everyday Americans believe we have a vested interest in keeping the Russian influence out of Ukraine. But only because they want to preserve their business model of graft and kickback and influence peddling that enriches themselves and is of no consequence to us everyday Americans.
In the coming days and weeks you will see talking points from both sides of the isle and carefully presented videos and tweets etc to influence us everyday folks that we just have to do something.
Watch for it and when you see it you wont be able to un-see it and you will realize this is an ugly game they (political elites on both sides) will play with our lives and blood simply to keep their shiny pennies and influence sphere.
If one agrees with the political presentation because their (Politician of choice) says to believe it - then one is a fish on a hook. If one questions the narrative then you will be labeled a Russian apologist or sympathizer. No one will win.

A categorical "ditto" Mr. TigerBean.
The willingly blind will mock you as a conspiracy theorist nut. These people are either too lazy to pay attention (e.g., the political partisans), psychologically unstable and cannot bear to contemplate that they are useful fools, or (very rarely) taking part in the graft.
To anyone who possess even a small degree of mental agility, read TigerBean's summary post carefully and start doing your own research. Don't take anyone's word for granted; do the work and validate or refute what you read and hear.

Exactly, there was no outcry when russia set up shop in part of Georgia ( the country not the leg humpers) and they have been trying to join NATO for over a decade.

Have been thinking about what Patton said about the Russians as well. I wish Joe21 was around to tell us how Patton’s comments were viewed at that time. Maybe Tiger Kid can shed some light on the subject.

Truckers in Canada were arrested for protesting mandatory vaccines. I fail to see your point on that item.
